Yoga Therapy

One to one yoga therapy starts with a free open conversation about what you would like to better manage, embrace or accept.

Sessions can happen in your home or a therapy room. Together we explore & apply yogic practices, principles & teachings to support you to find greater balance, self-compassion & trust.

The outcome of sessions could be that you feel more calm & conscious of the ever changing states of the body & mind. Alongside feeling empowered & able to influence or witness them.

My invested interest is yoga is for emotional wellbeing, trauma and nervous system flexibility and embodied empowerment.

Everything I offer is an invitation, with the knowledge that you are the expert of you. We are all wonderfully individual and relate differently to experiences. All sessions are uniquely co-created for you.

  • In one to one yoga therapy sessions we will practice breathwork, relaxation techniques, yoga postures, mindfulness and use yogic teachings and modern science to motivate reflections and change.

We have multiple doorways when we are disconnected distress comes in from, through those very doorways we can also let out our suffering. Connection to self, others and nature. Considering patterns of thought and behavioral habits might all be areas that we work on together.

Sessions are co-created, meaning we discuss what you would like to work on I make suggestions and give explanations as to why different practices could be helpful. You can choose to explore how they feel for you or not.

  • I recommend you start with 6 sessions. With this time we can explore the areas you would like to focus on. Alongside practicing and building habits of applying yogic tools to find greater stability and balance in your being and life.

However, it is up to you. You can have a taster session and work from there. Even if you commit to sessions you can finish as you choose.

  • Get in touch via email. I would love to hear from you. I will get back to you to schedule a call. We can discuss in more detail what you are hoping from yoga therapy and what to expect.

‘How do you do it?’ said night. ‘How do you wake and shine?’

‘I keep it simple,’ said light. ‘One day at a time.’
